Major RED LIGHT REFUND in Palm Coast.

This is a topic near and dear to my heart as a Palm Coast Resident. It turns out the city issued and collected over $1.5 million in traffic fines from red light cameras prior to it being legal to do so in the state of Florida. A West Palm Beach Law Firm won a successful suit aginst the city of Orlando in a similar suit. Apparently Orlando and Palm Coast were using a system to catch drivers running red lights. The system is legal today but was not legal prior to July 1, 2010.  Get more information form the DB NEWS JOURNAL. http://www.news-journalonline.com/news/local/flagler/2010/10/02/palm-coast-may-return-red-light-camera-fines.html

I have ver mixed feelings on this. It is pretty clear the red lights cameras were illegal but Palm Coast does not need anymore financial loss in this economy. What a shame there was no due diligence before the decision was made to move forward with the system.
